With the connections between nature and health, TIMBERLAKE TREES: allow access to recreation and exercise, in a naturally beautiful, clean and healthy, living landscape.
Under the direction of the Lake County Extension Service, a Tree Conservation and Landscaping Commission for the Village is established with its’ mission to:
- maintain Timberlake’s urban forest through the use of proper planting, trimming, and removal techniques
- fertilize, prune, and repair of any and all tree wounds on existing shade trees in public areas within the Village
- educate the residents of Timberlake about the importance of trees and landscaping as they impact our quality of life
- advise and support Village Council on issues affecting our urban forest.
